Welcome to The Big Book of Spam

March 31, 2007 · Filed Under The Books ·

So, what the heck is this? The Big Book of Spam is the latest book project by Daniel M. Clark. Secrets can’t be spilled yet, but here’s an offer that you might find fun. Have you ever wanted to get revenge on someone by submitting his email address to sites or services that you know would land him on a spammer’s list? Oh, have I got something fun for you, then. Your mission, should you choose to accept it (and why wouldn’t you), is to submit MY email address to as many known spammers as you can find! There are only two rules: first, no porn. This project won’t work with porn spam. Second, I don’t need anymore stock tips. If I end up on a stock spammer’s list, so be it, I can work around that - but I would prefer not to have to. So - no porn, no stock tips. Anything else? Not really. Oh, the address?

Spread it around!

My imaginary lawyer has informed me that I really need to have a disclaimer in case something bad happens to you.

Disclaimer: visiting websites where known spammers hang out or attempt to trap email addresses can be dangerous. By voluntarily participating in this activity, you agree that I - Daniel M. Clark - cannot and will not be held responsible if you pick up a virus, a trojan, spyware, adware, or any other internet nastiness. You further agree that I - Daniel M. Clark - cannot and will not be held responsible for any damage that you or your computer suffer from contracting said nastiness. Bottom line: helping me out here is purely voluntary, and you agree that I - Daniel M. Clark - cannot and will not be held responsible for anything bad.

That’s all there is to it! Check back periodically over the next few months as I prepare the book - I think you’re going to like it! So, go out there and spam me, baby!
